I know that I often ask folks about their Top 5 _____ in various departments. I could always make it Top 10, 15, or 20, but I feel that takes away from what makes these items the most important. In order to maintain consistency, here are my Top 5 Lists.

Franklin BBQ in Austin, TX (they aren't kidding when the line marker says two hour wait)
Snow's BBQ in Lexington, TX (Saturdays only, always busy even at 6 AM, see Netflix for more)
Killen's BBQ in Pearland, TX (a pound of brisket disappears quickly)
Salt Lick BBQ in Driftwood, TX (never have so many ribs been consumed)
Terry Black's BBQ in Austin, TX (short lines, great brisket)
Top 5 Musicals
Assassin's (very dark comedy with a history bent)
Les Misérables (considered by many as the great musical ever)
Hamilton (an overnight sensation steeped in history)
Rent (when I sing in the shower, it is often from this soundtrack)
Wicked (not the movie, just everything about it was over the top)
Top 5 Steakhouses
Perry's Steakhouse (a family tradition)
Saltgrass Steakhouse (the best bang for your buck)
Taste of Texas (you get to pick your steak before it is cooked)
Doris Metropolitan (nothing like your steak set on fire at the table )
Gallagher’s Steakhouse NYC (great steaks cooked over charcoal)
